Terms of Service

The Labs For Home software subscription gives the agreed number of learners access to our virtual laboratory experiments and learning platform for the period stated on your invoice.

Physical science kits are sold separately and are not included in this subscription. They are quoted individually — please contact us.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.

Pricing is agreed with you individually and is set out on your invoice before you pay. Prices are quoted excluding VAT and sales tax, which Paddle calculates and adds at checkout according to the country you are buying from.

Subscriptions renew automatically each year at the then-current price, so your access is not interrupted. Paddle will email you before each renewal.

You can cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Keep your login details private and do not share your account beyond the learners your subscription covers.

Our platform is designed for use by children. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and is responsible for the account.

Do not copy, resell, or redistribute our experiments, simulations, or course content. Do not attempt to access the platform by any means other than the interface we provide.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. Where a breach is accidental we will contact you first.

All experiments, simulations, text, and images on the platform remain the property of Siminds Limited. Your subscription is a licence to use them, not a transfer of ownership.

Work that a learner creates using the platform belongs to that learner.

We work to keep the platform available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

If a fault leaves the platform unusable for an extended period, contact us and we will extend your subscription or refund you for the lost time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim.

Physical experiments carry real risks. Follow the safety instructions supplied with any kit and supervise children at all times.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund if you do not accept it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
